Responsibilities

Ensure the correct pricing and discounts are applied to transactions
Answer customer inquiries and provide information about store policies
Resolve customer complaints or refer complex issues to a supervisor
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
Collaborate with other team members to assist with tasks as needed
Follow security and safety protocols to prevent theft and ensure a secure working environment
Requirements and Skills
Proven experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
Strong mathematical and calculation skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to handle transactions accurately and quickly
Basic computer skills for operating cash registers and processing payments
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling money
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent
