E-Commerce Operations Last Mile Shipping

Job Purpose

To oversee the final leg of the supply chain—from the local distribution center to the customer's doorstep. This role ensures that every "little package" arrives on time, in perfect condition, and with a seamless return/exchange process.

. Key Responsibilities (The Last Mile Focus)

• Real-Time Tracking: Monitoring daily shipments to ensure "Out for Delivery" status results in successful "Delivered" status.

• Exception Handling: Resolving failed delivery attempts (e.g., wrong address, customer not home) specifically for busy parents who may need flexible delivery windows.

• Returns Management (Reverse Logistics): Simplifying the process for parents to exchange sizes—a critical factor in kids' wear e-commerce.

• Packaging Quality Control: Ensuring the unboxing experience is premium and safe, protecting delicate kids' fabrics during transit.

. Job Specifications (Requirements)

• Degree: Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Operations.

• Experience: 2–3 years in E-commerce operations, specifically dealing with shipping aggregators or fleet management.

• Technical Skills: * Proficiency in OMS (Order Management Systems) and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).

  • Advanced Excel for tracking Lead Times and Shipping Costs.

• Soft Skills: High-level problem-solving and the ability to stay calm under the pressure of "peak seasons" (like Eid or Black Friday).
